Guys, let’s just think that we are going to have our next generation breathing on this planet. At least for the coming 100 years, this planet will be home to our dear kids and grandkids, and we all know that Humans learn what they see.
Inequality, disregard for another’s needs, dissatisfaction, urge to hoard anything and everything, availability of resources according to social status; all this is extremely normal today. We live with this, and probably have considered an implied way of life. The person with billions of wealth, dreams of expanding the empire and becoming the richest. Simultaneously, the person with nothing on hand, dreams to become a billionaire and fulfill all that entices him or makes him envious. Everyone on this earth is craving for more and more on their plate. We never see the other side of the fence. While we are sleeping in a well built home, with optimum facilities available. There are people and living creatures struggling to breath,or have a complete meal or even a floor to lie down.
Also, Globally Total Money or financial worth never increases or decreases, it simply passes on from one person to another in terms of payment, gifts, donation, inheritance. So it’s possible to gain or lose wealth easily. Have we ever thought the world has its own ways of turning the tables? What if our so-called great wealth and acquisition is not saved and passed on to the generations to come? What if they are not self sufficient? There are strange ways where life takes turns and no one in the world knows where it lands us.
Can’t we think that a world where equality is respected than the hoarding model will balance the life of the generations to come? Can we start giving equal rights, respect and status to each one around without knowing their caste, creed, color, social status and most importantly the rich appearance. Can’t we have the option to praise decency, generosity and an attitude of living and sharing limited resources? Aren’t we securing our generations to come by doing this? Because there will be a day where the ratio will be 80:20 as per Pareto principle, however, history says Majority wins!
So think tons of times before you think of Beholding the maximum wealth of the world or want to acquire more than you actually need. Because we hardly will be able to recollect who was the heir to the throne of Alexander The Great and what he or she is doing today.
And well, I know it’s not possible to go around donating what you have, for spreading equality. But, just pick your starfish, smile and say “I made a difference for that one” !
Yours Sincerely,
Zephyr
